Whenever I teach a painting class or do live painting, I hear the echoes of “I am not creative”, “I can’t paint”, “My painting will look like crap”. And I always respond with a simple message of something simple.
As a baby learns to walk, they don’t think “I am afraid of being judged because I keep falling”, “I am not a natural walker”, “I won’t walk as well as the other babies”. A baby has no concept of fear of failure, they just do for the pure joy of it. So why are you so afraid of living?!
Fear of failure is an illusion from the truth. You should embrace failure. Failure is a process of learning. Failure builds character. Failure means you are living for the moment you are successful. Less over analyzing more doing.
