The beautiful thing about loss is that there is always something new to discover that will take that place. A person to love, a new hobby full of joy, an internal mission to find peace, and the list goes on. The other thing to find, or notice in loss, is the reminder that we all are mortal.
The idea of us being mortal should be solidly internalized. By remembering this, you take more risk for joy and happiness. You don’t sweat the small stuff. You don’t fight for control and instead embrace the chaos which is life. Everything gets easier. Hate goes away. Nothing matters except for the present.
The past is now only a story but it doesn’t need to define you. At any moment you can redefine your life and become the person you always wanted to.
